Hello! I'm Ashley. I'm currently a freelance social media manager and graphic designer. I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature in 2016. During those years, I cultivated the ability for storytelling and attention to detail—skills that I have found to be crucial in the worlds of marketing and design.
Years later, I completed a graphic design certificate program through UMass Lowell in 2022, where I learned foundational design principles and fine tuned my self-taught Adobe Suite skills. Beyond that, my professional background is firmly rooted in the restaurant industry. If you've worked in the industry, then you know how valuable the skills are that you pick up while you're weeded, ringing in orders for your 6-top while being waved down by a customer, all while being yelled at by the kitchen: customer management, problem-solving in high-pressure environments, multi-tasking, working with others... the list goes on. I've been on the floor honing these skills for the past decade (and then some) and truly believe they are the most transferable skills in the world.
When I am not at my computer or drawing table, you can find me knitting, reading, hiking, camping, or behind the bar pouring you a pint at my local brewery.
